This Privacy Policy describes how OBDrive ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the OBDrive iOS application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

OBDrive is designed with privacy first. The App collects the following data locally on your device only:

• Location data — GPS coordinates recorded during trips for route mapping. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync.
• Vehicle data — OBD2 sensor readings (speed, RPM, fuel rate, coolant temperature, etc.) collected from your car's ECU via a Bluetooth adapter.
• Profile preferences — Fuel type, vehicle name, and display preferences you set within the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

All trip and vehicle data is processed entirely on your device to provide:

• Trip history, route maps, and driving summaries
• Fuel consumption and cost calculations
• Eco-score and driving behaviour analysis
• Live Activity widgets on your Lock Screen

3. Data Storage & iCloud

Trip data is stored in your device's local storage. If you enable iCloud sync in your device settings, data may be synced to your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

4. Fuel Price Service

The App fetches current fuel prices from our proxy server (fuel.buraksakalli.org). This request includes your approximate country (derived from locale settings) but does not include your precise location, name, or any personal identifier.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchase status is managed by RevenueCat in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — manages subscription and purchase state. May collect anonymous purchase metadata.
• Apple App Store — handles all payments and download analytics.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Trip data is stored indefinitely on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. You can delete all trips from the Profile screen at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

OBDrive is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
